Choose the sensing end

Select the tip design

Choose a flat measuring tip or an exposed sensing tip.

Protect the external connection

Select the lead construction

Choose braided cable, armour conduit cable or a steel tube with standard plug.

Match the process fitting

Select the thread and tip diameter

Each mounting thread is supplied with its corresponding tip diameter.

Set the insertion depth

Select the shaft length

Melt bolts are available with a 3, 6 or 9 inch shaft.

Set the protected lead length

Enter the cable length

Enter the required finished cable length.

Select the sensor type

Choose Type J, K or T thermocouple, or PT100.

Choose the measuring connection

Select the junction style

Choose grounded or isolated construction.

Complete the connection

Select the termination

Braided and conduit leads offer five termination choices; steel tube uses a fixed Standard Plug.
